Outside In is seeking volunteer Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and other healthcare professionals to help us provide medical care to houseless and low-income individuals during our weekly evening clinic.
The clinic operates every Thursday from 7pm - 11pm from our mobile medical van in downtown Portland and offers primary care services to community members in need. We are asking volunteers to participate once a month.
Outside In is a Federally Qualified Health Center. Our mission is to help homeless youth and other marginalized individuals move towards greater health and self-sufficiency. Some of our values include:

We provide quality medical care.
Poverty, homelessness, and inadequate access to healthcare prevent people from achieving full health and well-being. With our client-centered approach, Outside In specializes in providing care that overcomes barriers and helps our patients reach their health goals. We work in partnership with all our patients to find a path towards greater health and wellness.
We support homeless youth.
Outside In provides youth with the hope, confidence, and skills necessary to build stable lives. We treat our clients with respect and believe in them. They can and do turn their lives around.
