Suncrest Hospice is looking for compassionate individuals over the age of 18 years old who would enjoy visiting a hospice patient on a weekly (or more!) basis.
Please join our team as we provide quality end of life care to individuals in their place of residence. You are able to set your own schedule on when you visit.
Volunteers are a part of a collaborative team of RNs, HHAs, Chaplains, Social Workers and hospice Medical Director serving over 170 patients.
Volunteers are trained and supported. All you need to do is attend an orientation, complete a drug, TB, and background screening, at no cost to you, and be available to spend time with a patient weekly.
We serve patients throughout Sacramento, El Dorado, Yolo and Placer Counties, and we work to place you with a patient close to you.
This is a perfect volunteer opportunity for the busy college student and great experience for those in the medical or social work fields.
Contact Kathy at KDolan@suncrestcare.com or call our office at 916-928-0102 for additional information.
