Marketing and PR Intern

This is a great role for a student of Marketing or Public Relations who is looking to learn more about the field is from a non-profit perspective: working on budgets with limited staff but trying to make a big impact to save lives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work on site twice per week, two to three hour shifts, to assist with general marketing duties
• Use Tree House's social media accounts and coordinate with social media manager to assist with growth, especially on Instagram
• Engage with social network via commenting, follow-ups, and additional postings per Tree House's guidelines
• Scan and digitize documentation as needed from the marketing department
• Organize photos and assist with photo history project
• Research and compile information on PR prospects
• Write/edit press releases
• Send press releases to targeted members of the media to grow our presence in the community and foster relationships
• Other marketing-related duties as they arise
