Medical / EMT volunteers needed

This position requires a medical license (i.e. nurse, EMT, doctor etc.) and be certified in Advanced First Aid. Assist in providing first aid as needed at the event site or at a Rest Stops.
Medical crew will assist riders for minor medical issues along the route at our 5 rest stop locations. Our 5 rest stop locations are spread out along the route in the following towns:
Stamford, CT
South Salem, NY
Redding, CT
Riverside, CT
The RIDE For Our Vets is a charity bike ride benefiting the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center. The Ride For Our Vets is a family-friendly event that offers cyclists the choice of participating in a 10, 25, 50, or 62-mile charity bike ride ending with a family friendly BBQ.

Description
The Connecticut Veterans Legal Center's core program helps veterans recovering from homelessness and mental illness overcome legal barriers to recovery. CVLC is the first legal services organization in the country to be co-located and staffed on a daily basis within a VA community mental health facility.
