Community Education Partnerships is seeking several Tamil speaking volunteers to provide one hour of weekly academic assistance to students and parents affected by homelessness and housing insecurity. If you can provide English Language tutoring to an adult, or general academic assistance to a child K-12, please contact us as soon as possible. Students range in age from 11 to adult, with the greatest need in the East Oakland areas of Fruitvale, and Coliseum.
Community Education Partnerships is in its ninth year of providing academic support to Bay Area families who are experiencing, or have experienced homelessness or housing insecurity. We do so by providing one on one tutors, group tutoring spaces, school supplies, and registration assistance. Please don’t hesitate to share these opportunities if you know someone who may be interested.
