The 30th Annual FANS Ultra Races are happening on June 1st. All of the race proceeds go into a scholarship fund for our FANS Scholars.

We are looking for pairs of volunteers to take 2-hour daytime shifts at the aid tent. It's an easy job - prep food (cut fruits, bars, etc), maintain a supply of water and ice, keep the area clean and organized, and cheer on the racers.

We are also looking for volunteers to help with early morning set-up and registration as well as lap counters. No special skills required.

About the FANS Scholars program:

FANS stands for "Furthering Achievement through a Network of Support" and is a free Pillsbury United Communities college, career, and life preparatory program for high school students. The program provides students with a support system and activities to strengthen high school performance and to achieve success after graduation in college and career. Upon successful completion of the program, students can receive up to $1,500 in scholarships to assist with college expenses. Since its inception, FANS Scholars have received more than $1,000,000 in scholarship funding.
