Sharing Stories with Hospice Patients
Are you searching for something that will provide you with a strong sense of connection to others? Do you desire to be a part of something that will connect you to others in a way that nothing else has?
Volunteering for Elara Caring as a hospice volunteer just may be the thing you have been searching for!
The main role of a volunteer is patient and family support. That looks like many different things! It can mean...
- l Sitting with a hospice patient to allow family members a break
- l Playing games with a hospice patient
- l Pushing a hospice patient outside at the facility
- l Running Errands
- l Watching TV
But one thing is always the same......Being there!
If you have just a few hours a week to build a relationship that will enrich your life and the life of a hospice patient, call Elara Caring today at 517.740.9817 and start your journey!
