Randolph Health Volunteers
The Volunteer Center of Randolph County, a program of the United Way of Randolph County
Randolph Health Volunteers needs committed individuals to assist patients in the Visitor Center, Surgical Services and the Cancer Center Infusion Department. Volunteers assist in providing information and comfort to patients and families, transporting patients within the hospital and restocking supplies. Each position has its own training and requirements. Shifts are approximately 4 hours. Randolph Health seeks volunteers with good communication skills, a desire to help, an ability to work independently and a willingness to commit for at least 6 months after training. The hospital has a critical need for caring volunteers right now and this is a great opportunity to give back to your community and help your neighbors. For young people interested in health careers, this is excellent experience and a great resume builder.
Because the hospital invests in training for their volunteers, Randolph Health asks that volunteers be able to work for half a day, once a week and make a 6 month commitment.
