Time is limited, yet of eternal value. What makes it so is how you use it and to whom you give it. Share your gift of time with a patient on their end-of-life journey. No special skills needed - just a listening ear and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend.
Compassus Hospice, a hospice and palliative care agency, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families. We are looking for Administrative, Companionship, and Veteran Volunteers as well as Crafting, Musical, and Pet Therapy Volunteers.
As hospice patients approach their end-of-life extra support is needed for both the patient and their family. We are looking for special volunteers to visit patients at the bedside and offer vigil and support. You could hold a hand, sign a song, recite poetry or read a scripture while providing support for the family at the patient's bedside.
