In collaboration with Archdiocesan Housing, the Guadalupe Community Center is recruiting volunteers to assist in the Weld County Food Bank Summer Feeding Program. This program is targeted to children in areas that are at risk for hunger over the summer months.
Volunteers are needed to collect prepared lunch meals at the food bank Mondays thru Fridays, deliver to Archdiocesan Housing, and serve the meal. Volunteer commitment is one shift per week of 2-hours each day.
There are 2 locations for Archdiocesan Housing in Greeley:
a. Plaza del Sol and Plaza del Milagro
b. Guadalupe Apartments
This is a terrific group activity that makes an immediate impact in the lives of children living in poverty. Please contact Steve at smclaughlin@ccdenver.org or 970.616.8606 for more information.
