Envision Lead Grow is on a mission to end the cycle of poverty by introducing entrepreneurship to middle school girls from underserved communities. The program kicks off with our summer immersion, which is a week long experience where girls are able to live on a college campus, eat in the dining hall, and learn in the classroom, working to create their own business ideas.
Counselors would be teaching our entrepreneurship curriculum to our middle school participants, and serve as essential supports for our students, as for many of them, this is their first away from home experience. We will be working with 600 girls from 30 different states this summer.
This will be an amazing learning experience for the participants and counselors alike, and in return, counselors will receive over 200 hours of community service. Additionally, the camp is a part of a Ph.D dissertation, and counselors are a vital part of the research component, so students interested in research would be able to add this to their resumes. Counselors will be provided on-campus housing and meals throughout the program, while being able to impact countless girls from across the country.
