A Wider Circle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children and adults to lift themselves out of poverty. Each day, we receive about 500 phone calls from people in need, looking to donate, or volunteer - yours can be the welcoming voice that directs them to the right person in our office if you become a part of A Wider Circle's Office team! There are also occasional other projects such as data entry, mailings, etc.
We need assistance from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Sundays. Volunteers typically commit to a 2-3 hour shift. Training will be provided.

Description
A Wider Circle is a 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit organization that provides holistic support to families in need. We furnish the homes of children and adults who are transitioning out of domestic violence or homeless shelters, or who are simply living without what most of us take for granted - beds, dressers, sheets, towels, and other basic need items. We offer educational programs on topics ranging from job skills and money management to stress management and other life skills. We also provide wrap-around support to those seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce, including professional attire, education, and one-on-one support. We work with the most vulnerable among us, and we do whatever we can do to help them move toward stability and independence.
