It's about that time, folks! Help the Dallas Public Library kickoff Summer Reading by volunteering at the Dallas Festival of Books & Ideas, which will be on June 1st at the J. Erik Jonsnson Central Library. We're going to have some amazing guests, and we're gonna have lots of people come to the library. That's why we need you to help us keep things organized and running smoothly. If you're ready to mix and mingle with our special guest speakers and amazing library patrons, then this is for you! You'll be able to volunteer in just 3 easy steps!
1) Click on the link below to fill out a volunteer application and select "Book Festival" on the "Assignment Preferences" section. Make sure you consent to BOTH a liability waiver AND background check: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1020232491
2) Click on the following link to sign up for volunteer shifts (times & duties listed below & on the web-page. We'd need at least 2 people per time-slot): volunteersignup.org/YY8KW
3) Pay attention to emails from me (Alexandria) about your background check status & other logistics pertaining to your volunteer duties.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can leave a comment and/or volunteer@dallaslibrary2.org.
