Thank you for your interest in wanting to make difference in our community at Good Shepherd Manor!! We are a supportive housing/ independent living building for low-income seniors! Our building has an onsite Social worker and Nurse who collaborate to assist the residents in their health/wellness to sustain their independence for as long as it is possible! We are looking for volunteers who are eager to make a difference in our residence's lives by leading an activity related to arts/crafts or becoming a friendly visitor. Our goal is to provide activities for the residents to get them out of their units and to come down and socialize, as social isolation is common among older adults!

Our goal is provide them with the tools/resources necessary to meet their health/social/spiritual/ religious and family needs. Through this support, we hope our presence in their communities, makes a difference in helping them age successfully and independently.
