Americana is so excited to announce our annual Americana World Festival! It is a day full of outside activities and delicious for families and community members that is held at Iroquois Park. In the words of our Director, Edgardo Mansilla, "Why do we host this Festival? My answer is the appreciation of the cultures represented in our hometown is more than great food, inspiring music, fabulous dancers, amazing artists showing their crafts. It is a day to showcase people, our stories, our dreams, our hopes."
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to help with set up/ break down of the event or to help run activities.

Americana Community Center seeks to provide a spectrum of holistic social services that enable the many diverse residents of the Americana neighborhood and surrounding area. This enables people to discover and utilize internal and external resources to build strong families, to create a safe and supportive community, and to realize their individual potential.
Description
The Americana Community Center is located in the South End of Louisville. The South End has a large concentration of varied ethnic groups, with 26 different languages spoken. The Americana Community Center exists to be responsive to the needs of the diverse community by providing language and family based services to refugees, immigrants and other U.S. born citizens.
