New Event Coming to South Glastonbury and we need Committee Members!!
The American Cancer Society will be celebrating its first ever Red White & Brews Party on Friday, October 16, 2020 under the arena at Beacon Woods Stable. Join us in Glastonbury at this all-American themed gourmet BBQ as we celebrate the impact that the Southeast Region is making in the fight against cancer. Festivities will begin at 6:00pm with Red and White Wine sampling, tastings of local brews, and more. Don’t forget to wear your favorite red, white and/or blue or country attire and be ready to have some fun!
Together, we’re leading the fight for a world without cancer.
We’re fighting cancer on all fronts. From helping patients access services such as free rides to treatment, free lodging near hospitals, and a 24/7 cancer helpline, to fostering cutting-edge research and breakthroughs, to advocating on behalf of cancer patients - we’re on the forefront of saving lives and celebrating lives.
We are ACTIVISTS - fighting cancer through action. We convene powerful leaders who work tirelessly to create awareness and impact.
We deliver BREAKTHROUGHS - fighting cancer through research. We launch innovative research and develop game-changing approaches.
We build COMMUNITIES - fighting cancer through compassion. Our local communities come together to support those affected by cancer and to help ensure access to treatment.
We provide DIRECTION - fighting cancer through information. We empower people with information to outsmart cancer.
We are a volunteer-driven organization. The more people who join in our mission, the more lives we can help save. Join our volunteer force today, by calling Heather Byron at 203-379-4873 or email heather.byron@cancer.org today!
