We are currently seeking highly motivated, energetic and talented individuals to become our official mascot and handler for exhibit Ohio- Champion of Sports. The ideal candidates possess excellent non-verbal communication skills, physically fit, and a creative and entertaining personality. Champ doesn’t speak and you perform anonymously. Shy people can apply too; it’s a chance to let out your inner fun! Great opportunity for volunteers ages 12 and up.
Responsibilities
- Have an enthusiastic and high energy at all times to keep the entertainment level high.
- Flexibility to work in 2-3 hour blocks for appearances; 20-30 minutes in costume w/breaks in between.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Coordinate mascot appearance schedule.
- Participate in skits for marketing campaigns & social media.
- Maintaining the costume, wardrobe, props, etc.
- Serve as a brand ambassador while properly representing the organization in a professional manner always.
- Act as mascot handler on a rotational schedule with other performers by leading Champ in public appearances, talk about Champ and help everyone pose for that must-have photo.
