Location:

Mission Statement
The Center's Mission is to improve the quality of life for at-risk children and their families through the seamless delivery of child and family system driven programs that respond to and respect individual diversity, culture, and personal needs.
Description
Children's Day has been serving 2 to 5 year old children and their hardworking, inner-city, immigrant families since 1892. The Center has served many waves of different nationalities as they started their new lives in America. Today we serve 120 2.5 to 5 year old children and their families with high quality young child development services and family support services.
We have been a cornerstone of high-quality, outcomes-oriented early child development since 1992, when we began a robust family-focused effort. Our talented, highly committed staff continually enhance our child development services, and family support services, every couple of years. We achieved National Early Childhood Programs Accreditation (NECPA) in 2002. In 2015 CDN was named by child development experts at 3 leading child development-foundations in New Jersey as a model for young child development centers serving inner-city families.
