Grace Hospice has several patients in the Pleasant Ridge/Norwood areas who are in need of companionship, play cards or games, light help around the house & yard. Do you have an hour a week to help someone in your community? Hospice volunteering is a work of the heart. All training is provided and all background testing is paid for by Grace Hospice. Please, won't you take a few hours a month to help you neighbor?

Hospice is the only health care system that mandates the involvement of volunteers. This reflects the history of the hospice movement in the United States, which started as an all-volunteer system.

Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of a terminal illness. At Grace Hospice, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our volunteers play a key role in our mission. The hospice philosophy reaches beyond the physical needs of a patient and ensures that a patient spend their final days in comfort and with dignity.

Grace Hospice volunteers are as diverse as our professional staff. Compassion and caring are the hallmarks of any great hospice volunteer, and their involvement are a vital part of our team.
