Start off the summer holiday season with a few hours of volunteering! Come help with landscaping projects which will get the park ready for summer fun!
A few hours of time, from many volunteers, enhances the park so that it is welcoming for all!
All tools and training provided!
Families are encouraged to volunteer together!
Please wear closed-toe shoes
Bring a filled water bottle
A hat and sunscreen recommended

The mission of the Volunteer Management Unit is to create and support opportunities for community participation, in partnership with staff, which support successful completion of projects and programs to enhance the maintenance of public parks and the delivery of services for the benefit of the public.
Description
The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
