Become a patient companion volunteer, providing companionship, active listening, reading, writing, or other activities to our hospice patients. This is a very rewarding opportunity to support the hospice patient and their family at this juncture of their life journey.
Requirements; A commitment to visit assigned patient(s) a minimum of 2-4 times per month
Orientation & Training provided at no charge to the volunteer.

Description
Silverado Hospice goal is to maximize the quality of life through exceptional care and unmatched service. We provide world class care for all terminal diagnoses, 24 hour customer care support, unique programs (Memory Catchers and Essential Oils), as well as pre-bereavement and 13 month post-bereavement support. We go to wherever the patient calls "HOME" serving the entire Dallas/Fort Worth Area without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability (physical or mental), communicable disease, or place of national origin.
