Information Desk Receptionists
Commitment: Weekdays for three hour shifts (9am-noon, noon-3pm) or Weekends for five hour shifts (9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm)
Time of Year: Year-round, with some holidays exempt
Preparation and Qualifications: Knowledge of the Garden or willingness to learn. Knowledge of the Triangle area and Duke University is a plus. Ability to communicate with visitors and be willing to attend trainings to stay informed of events, membership and changes within the Garden. Some training is on the job. Self-study, shadowing and observation may be necessary.
Activity: Greet and assist visitors with directions and general information; answer incoming calls and direct to staff members
