The Reds Community Fund is nearing its 17 th summer with the Reds Rookie Success League. This program is a free, coed, character building baseball/softball program that spans across Reds Country. It’s unique in that it offers baseball/softball instruction for boys and girls who normally would not be able to afford it. Reds Rookie Success League features baseball instruction while focusing on a character-based curriculum and the "Six Stars of Success" - Cooperation, Integrity, Respect, Education, Determination and Spirit (CI REDS).
We are looking for volunteers to help run our Reds Rookie Success League this June and July in Dayton at Action Sports Center. The children in this program are ages 7-13, and meet Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. As a volunteer, you can help deliver a character-based curriculum and baseball/softball instruction to very deserving kids. You don’t need to know how to coach baseball but rather just need to be able to connect with kids.
There is a spot for everyone strengths- so If you’re looking to earn service hours, earn money for your cause, receive free training, or simply give back to your community please contact me directly at RRSLDayton@reds.com.
We hope to hear from you soon.
Best,
Taylor Brown
