Northwest Harvest is proud to be the beneficiary of Bacon Eggs & Kegs, "the perfect celebration for brunch fanatics, local brew lovers, and Bloody Mary enthusiasts!" Volunteers are needed Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th. All volunteers will receive a FREE ticket to the summer Bacon Eggs and Kegs event, as well as a co-branded t-shirt.

All volunteers must be 21 years or older, and all volunteers must be pre-registered. There are no drop-in volunteers opportunities for this event.

All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and will work alongside a great team of volunteers and staff! (Please note: due to our event license, volunteers cannot participate in any of the alcohol tastings on the day they're volunteering.)

Bloody Mary Prep (20 volunteers)Pre-Event Friday March 13thALL SPOTS FILLED! Volunteers assist with Bloody Mary Prep on Friday before the event. Northwest Harvest would have access to a certified prep kitchen within the stadium. This prep includes cutting fresh vegetables, skewering olives with lemon wedges, etc. The Bloody Mary Mix would need to be batched pre-event on Saturday morning before the venue opens.

Zone Volunteers (6 Volunteers) ALL SPOTS FILLED Zone Volunteer Lead for each of the following areas to ensure every Volunteer gets breaks when necessary, food and water

  • Brewery Zone
  • All Other Drinks Zone (Mimosas, Boozy Root Beer Floats, Irish Coffee, etc)
  • Entertainment Zone
  • Volunteer Hospitality Zone
  • (2) Bloody Mary Zone

Breweries (50 Volunteers) Volunteers stand alongside a brewery rep at each brewery station to assist with pouring and greeting guests. Producer to coordinate outreach to breweries for participation.

Full Pour (6 Volunteers) ALL SPOTS FILLED! Volunteers stand alongside a brewery rep at each brewery station to assist with pouring and greeting guests. Producer to coordinate outreach to breweries for participation.

Mimosa (4 Volunteers) ALL SPOTS FILLED! Volunteers manage Mimosa Station alongside a sponsor to assist with handing guests mimosas and greeting guests.

Boozy Root Beer (3 Volunteers) ALL SPOTS FILLEDVolunteers manage Boozy Root Beer Float Station alongside a staff member or sponsor to assist with creating root beer floats for guests.

Boozy Irish Coffee (3 Volunteers) ALL SPOTS FILLED! Volunteers work alongside a staff member or sponsor to assist with pouring Irish Coffee for guests.

Kahlua Coffee Cart (2 Volunteers) ALL SPOTS FILLED! Volunteers work alongside a staff member or sponsor to assist with pouring Kahlua Cold Brew Beverages

30 Ft Bloody Mary Bars (32 Volunteers - 16 per bar) Volunteers will manage the Northwest Harvest 30 Ft Bloody Mary Bars. This includes prep, operations, restocking of ingredients and more.

Quick Serve Bloody Mary Station (10 Volunteers) ALL SPOTS FILLED Volunteers will manage the Quick Serve Stations and distribute Bloody Marys with set ingredients to guests. Volunteers will also be stationed in the Prep Kitchen to assist with replenishing and running ingredients when necessary

Entry/Cups (8 Volunteers) Volunteers work alongside a staff member to greet guests upon entering the event, restocking the cups table and handing out booklets. These Volunteers are also responsible for ensuring guests don’t take more than 1 cup when they enter the festival, as well as 1 booklet per every 2 people. Guests that have broken cups will also come here for replacements (the guests must exchange their broken cup for a new one)

Entertainment (6 Volunteers) ALL SPOTS FILLED Volunteers will be given areas to facilitate games and engage with guests that wish to participate and have registered to play at the Northwest Harvest Tent.

  • Egg & Spoon Races
  • Egg Roulette
  • Bacon Bingo
  • Egg Toss

These Volunteers will also help to reset games, such as Giant Jenga, Cornhole, Ladder Ball, Lifesize Yahtzee, Giant Connect Four, and Bear Pong.

Floating Volunteers (10 Volunteers) Volunteers to assist where needed! Can be anything from additional support at the Northwest Harvest tent to the Chefs or Entertainment Stages. These Floating Volunteers will also help relieve other Volunteers for restroom breaks and snacks!

Parking not provided.

Northwest Harvest can provide service hours for school or work purposes, but we are unable to provide any court-related service.

Description

Northwest Harvest collects and distributes food to more than 375 independent food banks, hot meal programs, and high need schools across Washington State without proof of need. We provide over 2 million meals every month to individuals and families in need. We also run one food bank of our own, the Cherry Street Food Bank in Seattle.

Northwest Harvest is unable to provide court-related community service.
