Are you an outdoors person that enjoys working with young children (ages 5-8)? Are you a student age 14 or older? This could be a great way to have some summer fun and help make positive memories and experiences for these youngsters, while enjoying and learning about our environment!

Here are some of the experiences that, in coordination with the Center's Environmental Education, you will be assisting in providing:

  • dip netting
  • kayaking
  • invasive plant identification and removal
  • bird beak/feet adaptions
  • water quality testing
  • enviroscape scenario
  • predator/prey activity games
  • GPS introductions
  • camouflage activity games
  • hiking
  • nature crafts
  • archery (ages 9-13)
Curriculum covers - Seasons of Florida, Plant and Animal Diversity, Human Impact on the Environment, Food Chains, Water Quality, Chemical/Physical Changes, Data Collection, and Technology Integration

The camp runs from June 4 - June 28, 2019. Your assistance would be needed Tuesday-Friday of any week between those dates.
