Coaches are needed for Youth Girls Netball summer leagues. Volunteer coaches will contribute to a program designed for Netball skill development and to encourage youth to have fun, cultivate friendships, and encourage a love of the game. Coaches will assist with practices and game days, along with the development of Netball fundamentals for recreational play. The season starts May 18th and goes through early August.

The Mitey Mite group (ages 9 - 10) will play on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at Green Road Park. The Little League (ages 11 - 12) and Junior League (ages 13 - 17) groups will play on Mondays, Wednesday, and Saturdays at Chavis Park.

All practices and games will be in the afternoon. Practices are at least 2 times per week. Games start in mid-June and take place a maximum of two times per week with one practice (if needed).

We will supply all equipment and sport knowledge through a coaches meeting/clinic. Volunteers should dress comfortably for practices. Sneakers and loose clothing that allows individuals to be physically active is recommended.

Volunteer coaches must be at least 21 years of age. All volunteers will have to submit a coaching application and pass a background check.
