Are you passionate about volunteerism and helping those affected by mental illness? NAMI San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley is looking for a dedicated Community Events Coordinator to ensure that volunteers are present at each event where NAMI-SFV’s presence is requested.

The Community Events Coordinator will:

• Schedule volunteers to attend various events and fairs, and ensure that they know how to best answer questions, set up booths, and share NAMI's mission, initiatives, goals, and achievements with event attendees
• Work with various community organizers to learn of upcoming events in which NAMI-SFV’s presence is requested and follow through with event requests
• Work closely with other Community Events Coordinator to ensure each event is adequately staffed

* Huge plus if bilingual in English/Spanish!

ABOUT US: The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation's largest volunteer-led grassroots organization helping individuals affected by mental illness. At NAMI San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley, we are proud to offer free support groups, educational programs, and outreach presentations to individuals and families affected by mental illness.
