ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - South Florida Region

The Business Operations - Fleet Volunteer helps manage vehicle registrations, assignment processes, and maintenance to ensure fully operational and deployable regional fleet.

  • Manage vehicle and trailer maintenance and repairs
  • Facilitate registrations and licensing in coordination with Element, our fleet management vendor, to ensure 100% current registration (lead)
  • Meet Red Cross and DOT fleet policies and standards
  • Engage in identifying vehicles for repair, disposal, or replacement at the direction of the Regional CAO
  • Onboard, direct and assist fleet volunteers to perform work throughout the region, including addressing routine maintenance as well as repairs at approved vendor (lead)
  • Advise regional Operations team of process improvements needed; suggest improvements to regional fleet (lead)
