Do you like fire, engaging the public, educating, or doing crafts? Well, then we need you for the Fire in the Pines Festival!
The Coastal Land Trust, a coastal non-profit dedicated to land conservation, is partnering with the Nature Conservancy, a national non-profit, in the free Fire in the Pines Festival hosted October 12th from 9 am to 3:30 pm at Halyburton Park.
Focused on the benefits of fire and longleaf pine ecosystems, this event draws in 700+ guests. It's a whirlwind of a day! There will be a small prescribed burn the day of, food trucks, vendors, and hayrides! We will have a booth in the line up with an educational craft and information about our organization. We need volunteers to set up, run the booth, facilitate the educational craft, and engage in providing information to the public.
Please RSVP below and an information email will be sent to you about a week in advance of the event! We look forward to seeing you!
