SCORE's mission is to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and education. You can be part of this dedicated and passionate volunteer organization!
SCORE Vermont offers one no-cost educational event per month to support the business community and we are in need a leader for our Education team who is passionate about education while having the insights for the types of topics that are relevant to today's small business owners.
This is strictly a volunteer position. The vast majority of tasks can be done remotely or at your home office, while some tasks, like the event itself, would need your presence one mid-week night per month.

Description
The Middlebury branch of SCORE Vermont is an all-volunteer organization serving the Addison County and surrounding areas in Vermont. Our home office is in Chittenden County with branches throughout the state, and including Montpelier, St. Albans, Rutland, and Manchester.
Our mentors have extensive and wide-ranging business experience and provide face-to-face and online mentoring for new and existing businesses.
We also offer local workshops, roundtables and seminars covering topics such as how to write a business plan, creating a marketing strategy, business valuations, preparing for funding, and so much more.
Whether you have an idea or a new business you would like to explore, you are starting a new business and need guidance, or you have an existing business and are trying to weather the current economic climate, SCORE can help you realize your dream.
