AAC is excited to announce our 3rd Annual World Music Concert Series! Once again we are partnering with Andrew Frankel and Toyin Ajayi-Frankel, owners of Philadelphia’s Lucky Goat Coffee House, to bring World Music to the Philadelphia region. This summer we will be host to award-winning performers from around the globe through a series of five free outdoor concerts.
Most importantly, we need volunteer support to make sure that these concerts are as safe, enjoyable, and efficient as possible! We are looking for ~20 individuals that can make a commitment to volunteer for at least one, if not all five, of our summer concerts. There are a range of volunteer roles, some of which will include tasks such as greeting guests, band hospitality, stocking and distributing water, liaising with vendors on-site, monitoring the crowd, or setting up and taking down the event. We are looking for a diverse range of people with varied interests and backgrounds to form an efficient and friendly team of talented volunteers!
Ideally, we are looking for volunteers that can commit to all 5 of the concerts: June 20, June 27, July 11, July 18, July 25. If you enjoy world music, spending time outside, and meeting new people, volunteering at the World Music Concert Series can be the best of both work and play!
You can read more about this year's concert series here: https://abingtonartcenter.org/world-music-concert-series-2019/
If you are interested, or if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch. We want to hear more about you and what you can bring to the World Music Concert Series!
