Open Monday - Saturday 9:30am - 4:30pm and Sunday 11:00am - 4:00pm

Summer is approaching which means increased traffic in our already bustling store. To prepare for this, we're looking for dedicated, customer service-oriented volunteers to at our thrift store. We have immediate openings for a variety of positions. If you're friendly, outgoing, and love people and animals, we'd love for you to join our team of devoted volunteers!

CURRENT NEEDS INCLUDE:

• Cashiers
• Clothing Sorting/Pricing/Stocking
• Linens Sorting/Pricing/Stocking
• Shoes Sorting/Pricing/Stocking
• Electronics Testing/Pricing/Stocking

SHIFTS

Monday-Friday

• 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
• 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Sunday

• 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

We are especially looking for volunteers who are available on a consistent basis (same days/shifts each week). We are a fully functioning business and our volunteers are an integral part of our daily operations. Proceeds from our store directly benefit the animals in our care.

Blue Ridge Humane Society’s Thrift Store was started over 30 years ago. The proceeds from the store are used to help care for the animals in our shelter. Over the years the store’s location changed a number of times before the organization purchased land and built the current Thrift Store located at 1214 Greenville Highway. Visit our thrift store to meet our incredible volunteers, see our inventory that changes daily and save money while you’re at it!

The Thrift Store sells gently used donated items including women and men’s clothing, shoes and accessories; jewelry and purses; furniture; linens; household items; kitchen items; seasonal items; vintage, antiques and collectibles; pet supplies; as well as a limited selection of electronics, books, CDs, and DVDs.
