Play a small part in making healthcare better and safer for everyone!
SimGHOSTS provides resources and training for those who are helping to train our current and future health professionals. We show them how to make the training come alive using robotic manikins, special effects makeup, live actors, virtual and augmented reality and serious games. Making training as realistic as possible better prepares health professionals for the challenges of the real world. It also means the patients no longer have to be the guinea pigs because their health professionals can learn and practice in an environment that will tolerate mistakes.
We are need of an event photographer for our annual USA training event to be held in Miami, FL. You will need your own camera equipment and to be able to provide images to us via memory card or upload to Google drive. Photo editing is not required, but if you'd like to do it we would really appreciate it.
Our events are fun and action-packed. We don't sit around all day in stuffy auditoriums, we get to roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty! To learn more about them check out our video https://youtu.be/hcxFUMTJrAs

SimGHOSTS is dedicated to supporting individuals and institutions operating medical simulation technology and spaces through hands-on training events, online resources and professional development. SimGHOSTS envisions a healthcare education culture where people are empowered to use simulation technology to improve learning and patient outcomes.
Description
SimGHOSTS began when hospitals and universities using healthcare simulation technology began employing people to operate and manage the technology. With no formal training available, SimGHOSTS has been able to train thousands of educators and technicians around the world in how to safely and effectively use technology such as robotic manikins, virtual reality, simulated body parts and audiovisual technologies to train new and existing health professionals. We provide online resources, e-learning and hands on training events around the world catering for people working in all healthcare simulation settings from low-resource third world countries to cutting edge multi-million dollar facilities. Through our work and collaboration with similar organizations we are part of a worldwide movement to improve quality and safety in healthcare.
