Help Me Grow South Carolina is a system that links families to existing community-based resources and services for children at-risk for developmental or behavioral concerns. Read Rattle & Roll is our event where we partner with community organizations to provide free developmental screenings (ASQ-3) for children ages 1 month to age 5 1/2.
We are recruiting volunteers for these events. Volunteers will play with young children while their parents/guardians complete the developmental screening, help with setup and breakdown, and put together information bags for parents/guardians to take home. Volunteers with developmental screening experience may be able to assist parents/guardians in getting started with the ASQ-3.
Dress is casual and comfortable. Help Me Grow South Carolina will sign for volunteer hours.

Help Me Grow South Carolina promotes the healthy development of all South Carolina children prenatal through five. We provide free Read Rattle & Roll developmental screening events in the local community for families of children birth through five years of age. We also connect families to developmental and behavioral resources in their local communities.
