Family House is a non-profit organization that provides affordable lodging for patients, who are receiving medical treatment in Pittsburgh, and their families. Because these are often difficult times in the lives of our guests, we love to have volunteer groups visit the houses and cook meals for our guests so that they can truly have a "home away from home" experience. These meals mean so much to the families who stay with us, and really help to create a little bit of normalcy and comfort for our guests.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

- Preparing a meal in one of our three locations is often a three or four hour time commitment. We can host dinners any night of the week, and breakfasts on Fridays-Sundays.
- We usually ask that there be no more than 8 people in a group, per house. We also ask that the volunteer group be responsible for clean up/food storage after they have completed the meal. Food must be prepared in the houses.
