Interested in helping individuals in need learn how to use a computer?
Arlington County’s Department of Human Services is recruiting volunteer instructors to co-teach our intensive basic computers courses (basic computers, internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel).
Volunteers co-teach classes on Monday's, Tuesday's, Wednesday's, or Thursday's from 9am-12pm or 6-9pm. Curriculum, lesson plans, materials, and training are provided.
Classes start on April 13, 2020 and end on May 26, 2020.
We are currently looking for co-teachers for the following days/times:
- Monday’s from 9am-12pm OR 6pm-9pm
- Tuesday’s from 9am-12pm OR 6pm-9pm
- Wednesday’s from 9am-12pm OR 6pm-9pm
- Thursday’s from 9am-12pm OR 6pm-9pm
This volunteer experience could also be used as an internship.
