The Veteran Support Volunteer Coordinator aids in recruitment, onboarding, and training of Soldiers’ Angels’ volunteers through the VA Medical Centers across the nation. The goal of this position is to work with the Veteran Support Volunteer Manager or VA Representative to grow the veteran support programming that Soldiers’ Angels provides.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Veteran Support Volunteer Manager or VA Representative to grow the number of Soldiers’ Angels volunteers and volunteer hours.
- Work with the Veteran Support Volunteer Manager or VA Representative to ensure volunteers are fully trained on all required instruction.
- Help the VA Representatives and Regional Directors to determine volunteer needs.
- Coordinate the placement of volunteers in various volunteer roles.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of the volunteer processes and procedures.
