FACTR is looking for an Events Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role you will be leading the event-based marketing efforts to grow FACTR agency awareness and quality lead volume through strategic event initiatives. We’re looking for a high-energy, proven marketing professional who will develop and implement an events plan. Experience in a non-profit environment is desirable. Are you passionate about problem solving and making a difference working with the bay area's diverse immigrant and refugee community? This may be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Design and develop marketing materials
  • Help plan, prepare successful events
  • Liaise with media contacts and public relations
  • Draft press and media releases
  • Work on all other marketing related projects

Education/Experience

  • BS or BA or pursuing coursework or certifications in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Communications or related field.
  • Marketing experience or course work
  • Proficient in social media, blogging and other marketing applications
  • Community outreach
  • Marketing strategy and planing
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.

The specific purpose of this corporation is for service, research and training:

  1. To provide counseling, psycho- educational services and cultural awareness programs for newcomer families and their children that is respectful of ethnic values and diverse views, including State Laws pertaining to Child Protection, Domestic Violence, Educational, Immigration and other areas.
  2. To provide a setting for professionals who work with stressed families in newcomer and other circumstances to gain knowledge and skills to help them be effective in their work.
  3. To develop a knowledge base for dissemination of practices, methods and concepts for use in the broad mental health and Social Services field.
