We're trying to build the Northeast Ohio community’s awareness of the Autism Speaks Walk and Autism Speaks. We are looking for volunteers from all over the Northeast Ohio area to help distribute posters and brochures to as many locations as possible. We will provide all the materials, we just ask volunteers to record what locations they have visited and left materials. This is a great opportunity for students to get in some volunteer hours.
Here's how you can help:
Step 1: Ask your co-workers, friends, family, or significant other to sign up to join you.
Step 2: Visit businesses, community organizations, libraries, or doctor’s offices in your area throughout the week and ask to leave brochure displays and posters in lobby areas, on windows, and in breakrooms.
Step 3: Track location using the provided tracking sheet.
Step 4: Return tracking sheet to Autism Speaks.
Just a few hours of your time can help us spread the word and create awareness for the Autism Speaks Walk and Autism Speaks.
