The volunteers provide their own funding for transportation to and from the USA, in South Africa and also provide their means for support including accomadation, food and services.
We arrange all logistics for you. We have an extensive training program before you arrive so you will be well prepared for the cultural shift and the work that you will be doing.
Cost for 2019 is $4800.00 for approximately 3 week venture. Additional time can be negotiated.
Interns welcome for up to two years.

A World Aware, Inc. exists to train the world's poor to provide for themselves, and others.
Description
AWA seeks to recruit individuals to serve in communities as short term and long term volunteers to assist the less fortunate of the world. This is solely for benevolent purposes, and could include feeding projects, well drilling projects, construction projects etc. Some examples:
- Feeding the utterly poor
- Providing storage facilities to stockpile goods when possible.
- Providing materials and labor to erect facilities to serve large groups and communities in need.
- Providing educational materials for children and adults.
- Providing educational facilities.
- Providing food preparation and serving facilities.
- Providing training seminars to teachers of children and those trying to increase their job market potential.
- Providing resources to enable people to continue to serve people in their sphere of influence.
- AWA is working with community leaders, churches, businesses and government organizations to analyze and implement solutions to the challenges of health, education, and well being.

- Our usual day is about 6 hours in field, with debriefing and preparation time added to that. There is plenty of time for cultural immersion as well as personal agendas with arrangements made in advance.
