ORGANIZATION: Harvesters - The Community Food Network

A mobile food pantry is program that allows Harvesters to distribute nutritious, perishable food in a timely manner to food insecure families. Volunteers are needed to help the fourth Thursday of every month from 12:15PM-4:15PM at the VA Honor Annex. Volunteers will be helping to unload food and items from pallets and setting it up in the distribution area, assisting individuals at the distribution tables, loading people’s cars (must be able to lift 5-20 lbs. repetitively), and a bit of clean-up. Volunteers age 12-15 are welcome with adult supervision.
