Candlelighters Family Camp is an overnight therapeutic camp for children with cancer or other blood disorders and their families located on Mt Lemmon. We seek enthusiastic and energetic volunteers who enjoy children and the outdoors. We seek volunteers who will help guide the different age groups through camp activities such as archery, crafts, swimming etc. Meals and accommodation provided to volunteers. Candlelighters supports, serves and advocates for children and adolescents with cancer and other blood disorders, their families, long term survivors, bereaved families, and the professionals that care for them.

*Provide guidance in coping with childhood cancer's effect on a child, parent, siblings, and family
*Identify patient and family needs so that medical and social systems respond adequately
*Are an emotional support system of second families
Candlelighters is a voice in our community for pediatric cancer families and survivors to the general public, the medical community, government, schools, employers and the media.
