Simpson Housing Service is looking for a team of 10-12 people who are willing to do some dirty work for a 5 hour opportunity! Our kitchen is used every night to cook meals for 100 people staying at our emergency homeless shelter in South Minneapolis, and it sees lots of use. We are looking to get off to a fresh start this spring with a deep clean of the kitchen. We can work with your schedule, but it will need to happen when the shelter is closed, 10am-3pm. All supplies will be provided, and we will break for lunch. Team only needs to bring themselves, clothes they are willing to get dirty, a water bottle, and a lunch. Staff will be on site, and cleaning with the group. We can do a shelter tour after if group is interested.
