Brookdale Hospice Detroit is looking for caring individuals to volunteer their time to help support our patients. Volunteers will be responsible for companionship visits, providing patients with someone to listen. Hospice volunteering is not only extremely beneficial for our patients...It can be a very rewarding volunteer experience. By improving our patient’s socialization by providing them with companionship visits we hope to improve their overall quality of life. In order to do that we need you! The volunteers. In order to participate a potential volunteer will need to have a Background check, Drug Test and TB test all provided by Brookdale Hospice. Volunteers will also receive Hospice training to provide our volunteers with the knowledge to best support our patients.
