Foster

  • No Dog Left Behind is looking for a volunteer dog adoption coordinator to join our adoptions team and process adoption applications and talk with potential adopters.
  • The Adoption Coordinator position requires someone with excellent communication and organization skills, good management skills and the ability to enforce policies and procedures. This position also requires someone who is computer savvy.
  • Commitment time is very flexible. Phone calls will need to be made at your convenience throughout the day up until 9pm at the latest. You do not need to make calls everyday, but probably about 4-5 days a week.
  • Jobs included but not limited to:
    • Running criminal and civil background on adopters
    • Finding volunteers to perform home visits. May do some yourself, but not a must.
    • Keeping a time line to contact adopters after application is submitted of 36 hours.
    • Contacting and/or emailing all applicants per dog.
    • Emailing adoption contracts and adoption fee invoices.

You will always have help and support throughout all the process. You will need to be available by email and phone daily. You'll need to check your email and phone and respond in a timely manner.

Description

We are a foster based rescue. All dogs live in your home until adopted into their forever home. What Fostering Really Is: By becoming a foster, you are giving your foster dog a temporary home before they find their forever home. Keeping these dogs in foster homes helps them to stay balanced and not forget what it's like to have a home! You're job as a foster is quite simple, love your foster dog as if it's your own adopted dog.

NDLB is ALWAYS looking for more volunteers! There are many ways that you can help!
