Greetings!
Companion Hospice is looking for a office assistant to gain experience in the adminstrative hospice field. We are looking for some who can assist our team members with clerical duties. This position will help out on many ends including the marketing team and field team. This position would be great for the follow individuals in this field: Medical assistant, nursing, chha, healthcare administration, public health, social work.
This position is open to any experience.
Requirements:
-Must be at least 16 years of age
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must pass a background check
-My have a negative TB screening

We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.
Description
Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
