Granny's Garden School (non profit) of Loveland provides supplemental, hands on 'life science' education in our outdoor vegetable and nature trail for primary and elementary students. During the summer, we need volunteers to help us tend the garden so its well maintained and ready for students return in the Fall. Our team of Summer Harvest Helpers works together weekly to water, weed, pick and deliver fresh produce to the Loveland LIFE food pantry. Instruction is provided on what to do each week and you work in partnership with other volunteers. Volunteers share in the harvest as a thanks for your contribution and benefit from getting to know others! There will be volunteers in the garden working as a group Wed night and Sat morning, although you can volunteer to help on other days as well. If you like to garden, enjoy fresh homegrown vegetables and want to support our student program, this opportunity is for you! Find out more about the program at grannysgardenschool.org
