Must have capability to be online checking messages throughout the day.

Who wants to help a very active rescue founder with gathering data and images?

We are seeking a computer-savvy individual to assist ARTBAR with keeping our RescueGroups pet list up to date, plus adding our passengers to transport spreadsheets and uploading photos of each passenger.

This is done on a daily/ongoing basis but only takes a few minutes per day. Ideal for someone who is at a PC on and off throughout the day. Great for retirees or homemakers with kids already in school! You can help our rescue with vital work without having to take a pet into your home, and you can do it all online.

• MUST have a PC/laptop. This position is not compatible with smartphone-only users.
• MUST have reliable high speed internet.
• MUST be fluent in English.
• Prior experience with RescueGroups, navigating to different views and sorting columns plus adding/editing pets OR ability to read/interpret instructions and learn quickly.
• Prior experience with Google sheets OR ability to read/interpret instructions and learn quickly.
• Prior experience with Google docs OR ability to read/interpret instructions and learn quickly.
• Comfortable snagging images via screen shot or download and cropping/resizing to fit.
• Attention to detail. We need a details geek, someone with slight OCD tendencies. You love organization and thrive on it.
• Ability to communicate via Facebook messenger group chat throughout the day.
• Once trained, you are comfortable with working independently without needing to be reminded to do the work every day. You're a take-it-and-run-with-it kind of person.
• Comfortable with requesting information as needed...and nagging for it if necessary.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment where you will have to snag information from other volunteers as you catch them online throughout the day/night.
• You're into data and photo management. When everything lines up perfectly, you breathe a sigh of satisfaction at a job well done.
• You LOVE being part of a team that LOVES to save animals...but you can't foster or aren't able to drive, yet you have the skill set above and are ready to jump on board and get things organized!
• We can be fun, snarky with each other or stressed...and you're ok with all of it and you know not to take it personal because rescue is stressful and that's just a fact of life.

We really need an independent, reliable person for this position. We will teach you the basics, but once you ramp up, you'll be expected to be active daily without reminders. Communication happens on the fly in Facebook messenger throughout the day, so that's where you'll go to gather the information and photos.

We're looking to feed information and photos to you and then find that when we log into RescueGroups or look at the transport spreadsheet, they are already up to date because you're so on the ball with keeping up with us.
