We are looking for volunteers who assist us in the care and mentoring of at-risk adolescents residing in our Interface Youth Shelter in Gainesville. Our youth come from diverse backgrounds and are greatly enriched by the participation of our volunteers. We also have a need for administrative volunteers in our offices, and volunteers for our SNAP program occurring in the evenings. We offer new volunteer training 3 times a year towards the beginning of each semester.

Our shelter is open 24/7, 365 days a year. Because of this, we are very flexible with providing a volunteer schedule, however, the greatest need for volunteers is whenever the youth are not in school: 3-9 pm on weekdays and 9am-9pm during the weekends or vacations. Our SNAP volunteers are needed from 5pm to 8pm, once or twice a week.
