The Mission of the Royal Foundation of Holla INC. is to help people internationally through health, education & social development!

Royal Foundation Of Holla Inc. in Louisville, KY is looking for one board director to join our strong team of intelligent directors. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.

We are looking for board members who reflect the communities we serve internationally.

Applicants are invited to send their resume and a short cover letter stating why you are interested in joining our board and what sort of the positive impact you believe you can have on our mission.

Applicants must have a basic understanding of leading a non-profit, fundraising experience, leadership, and a passion for mental health, with a focus on Borderline Personality Disorder.

Specific Responsibilities:

As a board member, I will consistently act responsibly and prudently. I understand my

duties to include:

• Legal, fiscal and moral responsibility, along with my fellow board members, for the

well-being of this organization. As such, it is my responsibility to:

• Be familiar with our budget and take an active part in the budget planning

process.

• Know and approve all policies and programs and oversee their implementation.
• Take responsibility for making decisions on organization issues and board

matters.

• Interpret the organization’s work and values to the community, represent the

organization and serve as a spokesperson.

• Keep up-to-date on the business of the organization.
• Excuse myself from discussions, decisions and votes where I may have a conflict

of interest.

• Attendance at least 9 board meetings per year out of 12. Should I be unable to attend a meeting,if needed, be available for telephone or video consultation. Additionally, I will serve on at least one board committee.
• An annual personal financial contribution to the organization. This may be given as a one-time donation each year or in mutually agreed to installments during the course of the year.
• Active participation in 3 or more fundraising activities. This may include

individual and/or special event solicitation or direct mail appeals.

• Working in good faith with my fellow board members and staff toward the

achievement of the organization’s goals.

Job Type: Part-time (1 meeting every month and optional events to be present at)
